Hello, my name is Dave Bernal and I am a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 4019. In November 2009, my sister-in-law passed away and left a hefty funeral expense.

Eliza Bernal was the mother of five and her oldest daughter, Christina Bernal-Sati, took care of some of her medical expenses as well as the funeral expenses. Eliza had nothing lined up for her passing, as a lot of people don't.

With the help of all the family, we are doing a benefit in memory of Eliza Bernal. This will be to help replenish funds for funeral expenses that they really did not have to begin with.

Join us on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at U. Mass. Medical Center, Worcester, Ma. (10am to 12noon is Registration) to walk to Cure Cancer. If you can't make it you may wish to donate! The walk is approximately 5 miles around part of Lake Quinsigamund in Worcester. It's an inspiring walk! We're getting closer to a cure. Maybe this Local Union can help that along a little.
